The short version: your coins are your business.

MintMark's guides and your saved collection live entirely in your browser, on your own device. Coins you save are never uploaded, and we can't see them.

When you use automatic photo identification, your coin photo is sent to our identification service, analyzed, and the result is returned. Photos are processed to answer your request and are not retained as a photo library tied to you. If you create an account, we store your email address and an encrypted form of your password — nothing else.

We keep standard, anonymous web-server logs (page requested, time, browser type) to keep the site running. No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies.

Clearing your browser data will erase your saved collection — use the “Export JSON” button on the collection page to back it up first.
